To produce high quality colour work up to SRA3 (450mm x 320mm) or 1m x 297mm banners, we use our Ricoh C5210S copier/printer. This is extremely cost-efficient and the quality is comparable to high-street magazines. However, if you need something larger we have a large format Epson 7890 inkjet printer, capable of printing on 24”/610mm wide roll paper. The largest "standard" size we can print in-house therefore is A1 (841mm x 594mm), but as the rolls are 30m long, this allows prints up 24” wide and effectively unlimited in length.

In addition to the available print size, the quality of prints produced by the 7890 is second to none, hence why we use this for our annual school photos. However, as it is an inkjet, albeit one that uses comparatively large and therefore more economical ink tanks, it is significantly more expensive to run than the large copiers. Think a few pounds a sheet rather than a few pennies. That said, if you need prints larger than A3, this is the machine for the task.
